When you first step inside the doors of the Reef HQ Aquarium, you’ll be surprised at just how big the place is. The aquarium is divided into four main areas: Animals, Inverts, Freshwater, and Marine. How to get to Reef HQ Aquarium: Located at the base of Black Mountain, Reef HQ Aquarium is the perfect place to start your visit to Townsville. You can catch the Easy Entry shuttles to the aquarium from Central Station, or the St. George Wharf.

In the kids area, we have a fish feeder, color- Changing Light Therapy, and a coral reef tank with touch screen fish that teaches kids about the aquatic life in this beautiful city.
