The Currajong Museum is located in the very heart of the historic Laidley District. As this is a tourist attraction, all major roadways will lead you right to the front door. More importantly, the museum is filled with engaging exhibits, fascinating stories, and hands-on activities to get you interested in history once again.

The Townsville Museum Currajong is open from 10am to 4pm Tuesday through Saturday and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays. They also have special reduced admission hours on weekdays during office hours. Admission is free for children 6 and under, student cardholders, and pensioners.

We have a wide variety of plants and trees too including 6 different types of orchid, 90 different species of flowers, and more than 100 species of trees.
